Haus Bilby is therefore central and quiet, and everything that matters on holiday is within walking distance.

Yes, Haus Bilby is set up for families with small children. One bedroom has a changing table as well as a pull-out bed in the same room – handy for families with very young children. A small child's table with two little chairs is also available on request, together with child-friendly plates and cutlery. The property is fully fenced, giving children a sheltered place to play in the garden. In the bathrooms there are also small stools so that children who already brush their own teeth and wash their own hands can reach the basin.

Yes, Haus Bilby has a generous, fully fenced garden with a south-west facing terrace and a large awning. The fenced garden is particularly well suited to families with children.

Haus Bilby was extensively renovated in 2022. Modern features include an app-controlled Philips Hue lighting system and an ethanol fireplace in the living area.

Haus Bilby is spread over two levels. The ground floor has the open-plan living room, a separate dining room, the kitchen, two bedrooms and a shower bathroom with direct access to the terrace and garden. The lower ground floor has two further bedrooms (one with changing table and pull-out bed) and a full bathroom; this level also has its own separate outside staircase – handy for teenagers who occasionally come home a little later in the evening without waking the whole family.

From May to October Haus Bilby has fixed arrival and departure days: Thursdays in July and August, Monday to Friday in the other months. The house is generally available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival; departure is by 10 a.m.

From April to October and over Christmas and New Year, Haus Bilby has a minimum stay of 7 nights. From November to March stays can be booked from just 2 nights.

Key handover at Haus Bilby is by default contactless via a key safe at the property; the access code is sent by email on the day of arrival as soon as the house has been cleaned and is ready. On request a personal key handover on site is also possible, at the latest by 6 p.m.

Haus Bilby is very well located for everyday shopping: the Hansen bakery on Strandstraße is about 500 m away, the nearest Edeka supermarket around 1,000 m and a large Rewe supermarket in the commercial area about 1,200 m. Sandwall, Große Straße and Mittelstraße with their many shops and cosy cafés are also only about 1,000 m from the holiday home.

The kitchen at Haus Bilby is well prepared for holiday cooks: hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, a large fridge and three separate freezer compartments provide plenty of space and comfort. For coffee lovers, both a classic filter coffee machine and a Nespresso capsule machine are available. The kitchen also has everything needed for relaxed cooking on holiday: a stick blender, plenty of pots and pans, a cocktail shaker with accessories, oven dishes and other kitchen equipment.
